Very excited to have this painting, Tin Plate Toy Globe, shortlisted for Artist and Illustrators Artist of the year 2013! I haven't seen the other entries but I'm sure the standard is scarily high and they probably won't choose a still life as winner for a second year. Great to get that far though - I feel like a winner already!

Christmas Robin

Just a quick little painting of my favourite Christmas decoration, a small wooden robin. I think it's his slightly wonky feet that I like best!

Orange Iron

This old orange iron was borrowed from a friend who shares my love of old things that no-one else thinks are lovely! To all my other friends who think I'm a bit bats - you're right but you know that's what makes me me!

Just for fun!!

Just for fun, and because it's always good to try something different, I decided to paint this tree in a style very different to my own. I am quite pleased with it and it was a great exercise in spontanteity. Acrylics on canvas.
