I am getting into my stride with these now! I learnt a lot from the last painting and was more careful to preserve the areas of highlight, which I put on last, to avoid getting them muddy. I have used black for the darkest shadows which is something I don't usually do (because I'm a bit afraid of it!) but it was just right here. Preceding photos show the work in progress.
